Michele Stevens
I'm a retired public school teacher who Is passionate about teaching and making learning fun for students of all ages. I love working with students' individual needs and interests to design engaging lessons that both teach and engage!
All About Me
I graduated from UCI in 1998 with a bachelors in Psychology and Social Behavior.
From there, I worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at an adult day workshop, working with special needs adults. In 2000, I went on to
pursue my masters degree in Elementary Education and Teaching
Credential from Claremont Graduate University.
I have worked in education for over 20 years. I've taught everything from preschool literacy to adult education. I have worked with general education students as well as students with special learning needs. My goal is to meet every student where they are and work with their unique learning style to make lessons fun and meaningful.
Learning should be fun!
On a personal note, I am a proud mom of two lovely daughters. We love animals of
every shape and size and have many in our family. Upon taking a medical retirement
from teaching in 2019 due to health conditions, I started raising chickens, ducks and
quail. I enjoy teaching my students all about raising and rescuing animals
and caring for animals with special needs.
